This is the fastest way to get something live on Clusra. You need a GitHub account and a repo with an index.html in it. Hosting is free.
Before you start
- A Clusra account. Sign up with GitHub if you don't have one.
- A repo on GitHub with your site's files. Plain HTML, CSS and JS works straight away.
- Using React, Vite or Next.js? Read Deploy React, Vite or Next.js today first, because we don't run builds yet.
Deploy in four steps
- 1Open the dashboard and click New project (or go to
/dashboard/projects/new). - 2Click Connect GitHub, install the Clusra GitHub App and choose which repos it can see. You only do this once. See Connect GitHub.
- 3Pick your repo and branch. Clusra tries to detect the framework; pick Static HTML if it guessed wrong.
- 4Check the project name and Root directory, then click Deploy.
The deploy runs in the background. Your project page shows the status moving from queued to building to success (or failed).
Your link
When it's done, your site is live at <name>.clusra.app, where <name> comes from your project name. Share it, post it on Rant, flex small.
What next
- Changed your code? Push to GitHub, then hit Redeploy. See Redeploys and deployment logs.
- Site shows a 404? See Troubleshooting.
