Connect GitHub (personal and org)

Install the Clusra GitHub App on your account or an organisation and choose which repos it can see.

Clusra reads your code through the Clusra GitHub App. You decide where it's installed and which repos it can see.

On your personal account

  1. 1
In the dashboard, go to New project and click Connect GitHub.
  2. 2
GitHub asks where to install the app. Pick your own username.
  3. 3
Choose All repositories, or Only select repositories and tick the ones you want.
  4. 4
Click Install. GitHub sends you back to Clusra and your repos show up in the picker.

On an organisation

Same flow, but pick the organisation instead of your username when GitHub asks where to install. You need to be an owner of the org, or ask an owner to approve the install.

You can install the app on more than one place. When you have a few, the repo picker lets you switch between them.

Private repos

Private repos work, as long as the GitHub App can see them. If a private repo is missing from the picker, it's not in the list of repos you gave the app access to.

Give the app access to more repos

  1. 1
On GitHub, open Settings → Applications → Installed GitHub Apps (for an org: the org's Settings → GitHub Apps).
  2. 2
    Click Configure next to Clusra.
  3. 3
Add the repos under Repository access and save. Refresh the Clusra picker.

Public repos, no install needed

For a public repo you can skip the app. On the New project page, click Or deploy a public repo by URL and type it as owner/repo:
